The Shimano BB30/PF30 73mm MTN BB is compatible with Shimano™ Hollowtech II MTN cranks. BUY THIS IF: You are installing a Shimano™ Hollowtech II MTN crank in a 73 mm wide BB30 or PF30 MTN frame. TOOLS This Shimano BB30/PF30 requires TWO traditional 16-notch BB tools along with a press tool/deriver for installation. Use any standard cup BB tool with 16 external notches and a 44 mm ID. SIZE BB30 - 73 mm MTN width x 42 mm diameter PF30 - 73 mm MTN width x 46 mm diameter (sleeve included for PF30) BEARINGS Steel or ceramic cartridge | Enduro 2437 They are specifically designed for use with Shimano Hollowtech II cranks. The ceramic version is rated grade 5 / ABEC 5. 24 mm drive bearing and 24 mm non-drive bearing MFG Forged and machined cups made from heat-treated alloy AVG.
