Athena offers a range of top-quality raw materials for gaskets, available as sheets of paper, cellulose, metal and rubber and in various thickness, to meet all client requirements. MotorGasket M0115 is composed of a pegged steel core. An asbestos-free soft material, which contains blend of inorganic fillers and high grade of aramide fibres and NBR as binder, is applied to both sides of the core. M0115 has a good mechanical and thermal stress, conforms well to sealing faces. M0115 is resistant to oils , fuels, mixtures of water and antifreeze or corrosion inhibitors. M0115 is suitable for cylinder head gasket in mid-range internal combustion engines; intake and exhaust manifolds; for the other sealing joints exposed to high mechanical and thermal stress. This grey sheet for gaskets 50x50 cm has a thickness of 1.4 mm.
