Athena offers a range of top-quality raw materials for gaskets, available as sheets of paper, cellulose, metal and rubber and in various thickness, to meet all client requirements. M0116 is a high quality of controlled-swell asbestos-free gasket material. It is composed with aramid fibers and inorganic fillers in a rubber matrix, resistant to medium/high temperature and pressures. It has a good resistance to compression and low gas permeability, and it has an exceptional flexibility. M0116 is a special quality material with controlled swelling in oil, to be used against oils for joints with low or uneven surface pressure: this property allows M0116 to be leakproof with low or uneven surface pressure. Recommend use of M0116 for oil-pan, fuel injection pump, cover type, where pressures and temperatures are not very critical, or for side covers and pump covers gaskets. This grey sheet for gaskets 50x50 cm has a thickness of 1.0 mm.
