Tested and developed with and by our top athletes, the new MX SE5 Composite helmet stands out for an aerospace fiberglass composite shell, a new ventilation system to ensure maximum comfort to the rider thanks to the side gill intake louvers on the chin bar, and the Collarbone Mitigation System, the innovative collarbone protection system in EPP (expanded polypropylene) located in the lower side of the helmet to provide addition impact relief to the upper shoulder and collarbone area. MIPS® INTEGRA MIPS (Multi-Directional Impact Protection System) is a patented technology born to protect the skull from impacts in the event of a fall and thus to reduce head injuries and the risk of concussions. MIPS is a leading slip-plane technology inside the helmet designed to reduce rotational forces that can result from certain impacts. MIPS has been developed to reduce the rotational forces on the brain caused by angled impacts to the head. INTEGRA is the latest evolution of MIPS: it one of the lightest and slimmest rotational management system (RMS) and the most integrated by MIPS. Perfectly integrated into the inner shell, this system ensures maximum comfort and minimum friction when wearing the helmet.
