By significantly reducing the oil temperature, and consequently the water temperature, the patented TwinAir oil cooler allows your engine to maintain peak performance for longer. TwinAir's solution is a true innovation. Zigzag fins were a passive and ineffective method, while longer cooling tubes were cumbersome and less efficient. Unlike traditional coolant-based systems that integrate with the water cooling system, TwinAir’s design is the first fully air-cooled solution. A mounting panel behind the radiator directs oil through flexible hoses to a tubular cooling grill, made up of 3 sets of 3 short tubes designed to maximize heat exchange. The TwinAir Oil Cooler kit includes everything you need: heat exchanger, mounting components, oil filter cap, hoses, clamps, and detailed instructions. TwinAir’s unique tubular heat exchanger cools the oil by running it through a 3-chamber element. To maximize heat exchange and maintain optimal oil pressure, we selected a rubber hose with a 6 mm inner diameter. From our tests comparing rubber hose to stainless steel braided hose, the rubber hose demonstrated better heat exchange capabilities while maintaining consistent oil pressure. The TwinAir Oil Cooler is mounted behind the left side radiator and comes with all the necessary hardware for installation.
