A3 develops all the key points already present in the A1 and A2 helmets and becomes the best in its category. You will never be able to take it off! To ensure maximum safety, the A3 bike helmet has been developed by providing a very deep cover in the back, which totally covers the delicate lower part of the skull. MAIN CHARACTERISTICS The A3 MTB helmet is equipped with a class B MIPS (Multi-directional Impact Protection System), that is, fully integrated within the internal TLD V3 fit adjustment system. This allows you to maximize the air flow and comfort of the interior, while maintaining the high MIPS safety standards. The inner shell is made up of two co-molded materials, EPS and EPP. This allows the shock energy to be absorbed and dissipated, protecting riders at both low and high speeds. In addition to being a safe helmet, the TLD A3 is therefore also super comfortable and practical to use: A3 has a V3 precision fit with a true 360 degree system and 3 levels of height adjust, while the V2 Fidlock-Magnetic Buckle can be easily used with gloves, with one hand, and without the risk of pinching skin. A wide range of glasses and goggles have been trialled and approved for use with the TLD A3 helmet, while the Sweatglide system (removable, washable and replaceable EVA sweat management system) and the 2-piece V2 XSTATIC® liner will avoid smelly helmet syndrome. The visor is 3 position adjustable, including goggle stowage via an Automatic Magnetic System allowing for fast, secure and accurate visor positioning. The screws holding the visor to the helmet are smart shear screws, for added safety, with an anodised aluminium washer. The A3 has the deepest coverage of TLD’s open face MTB helmet for MTB, enduro, and trail, yet is is well-ventilated thanks to 16 vents with optimized engineered channeling.
