The Piston Kit is compatible with the original cylinder. It is made through hot forging and has a single elastic band. This combination ensures lower friction with the cylinder and consequently higher throughput, combined with increased strength and reliability. The kit, in addition to the piston itself, contains the pin, clips and piston rings kit. The elements mentioned above are replaceable and interchangeable in case of need. Athena's High Performance line consists of a complete range of cast pistons for the main 2 and 4-stroke Off-Road models. They are produced thanks to a revolutionary computerized technology that ensures production dimensional tolerances of less than 0.01 mm.
